The
Queen of Hearts 2010 international beauty contest was organised on
Saturday 13 February in restaurant Virgin Oil Co, right in the heart of
Helsinki city centre. Elizabeth Rokala from Tanzania was crowned the
winner.
In July 2010, Queen Mirfat traveled to Tanzania to make a donation to Hiari Orphanage Centre, an orphanage in Dar es Salaam she campaigned for during her reign as The Queen of Hearts. The money raised in the project helped buy the children at Hiari new beds, mattresses, bedsheets and mosquito nets.
The Queen of Hearts 2009 international beauty
contest was organised on Valentine's Day 14 February in Helsinki,
Finland. Mirfat Awadh Abdulrahim from Tanzania was crowned
the winner. I-An Gao from Taiwan came second and the third place went
to Sílvia Daianna Alfredo Neto from Angola.
